Certificate of Appreciation – UFV | Workplace TASK

Not that we enjoy patting ourselves on the back, but we do love giving back to the community and recognizing staff who go above and beyond.

Recently Express Computers was recognized by the University of the Fraser valley Workplace Task Program. One candidate (Esteban) was in desperate need for a placement after one of our competitors cancelled their “confirmed” placement at last minute. When notified, Craig Anderson, Director – Fraser Valley Region did not hesitate to help and pulled out all the stops making room for Esteban at our Chilliwack location. Kurtis & Sebastian, our techs in Chilliwack got him started and showed him “the ropes”. It is always personally rewarding to give back and teach skills to youth interested in our field.  We all enjoyed working with Esteban and wish him all the best in the future!

Alyson Sealem, the Associate professor for Workplace TASK (Upgrading and University Preparation – University of the Fraser Valley) sent us this message in appreciation when Esteban was all done, although the pleasure was all ours.

Message below from Alyson:

“Hi Craig,

Great to meet you the other day. Thanks again for opening your work site for Esteban. I know his time there has been valuable and you, Sebastian and Kurtis have been very supportive.

I hope we have another chance to work together again.”
